The Narrator’s Advice:

Take care of yourself and Drood

-You both need food, drink, sleep, pee breaks and (optionally) showers

-Food and drink spawn randomly at the beginning, must be stolen, borrowed from friends or bought from NPCs or your fridge after

-A random amount of cash spawns somewhere in the beginning

Food and drink can be consumed with ‘R’ or put into your inventory with ‘E’ (disgusting)

Kick stuff with ‘G’

Making music (R with instruments, Z to use your personal instrument) can alleviate your needs or calm/impress NPCs

-The bong and related paraphernalia randomly effects your fatigue and makes you see wondrous things, but also makes you hungry and thirsty

Pee on the floor causes mushrooms to grow

Click any door with the key to lock or unlock it, with varying strengths

Mushrooms and plants can be harvested for random goodies

-Your power will get cut off if you don’t pay $2 to the machine in the driveway daily

Keeping Drood alive, washing plates and throwing out bottles, and killing slimes earns you money

-Your fists and feet do very little damage, unseal the sword in the front yard by getting Drood to love you enough

Drood can be questioned or called over with ‘X’, hung out with using ‘H’ or told to do something new with ‘N’

-Press ‘C’ to use your magic attack, this will make you more tired and thirsty

-Collect money from Agency HQ in the city

-If Drood dies he can be revived with some potions, coffee, a bong or his bed

-You can tell Drood to interact with certain items by looking at them and pressing ‘E’ (ball, toilet, slimes, guitar, etc)

-Use the trash can by either throwing trash into the top or by picking it up and scooping it up (Trashable items: plates, empty bottles, broken potions, boxes, bones, poops)

-You regain 1HP a night if you did a good job that day, if you already had full health you might get even more

Click NPCs to talk to them, press ‘E’ on them to tell them to go away or try to reason with them to stop attacking you if hostile

-Some NPCs are hostile, they can be identified by their red text and bad demeanor

Talk to NPCs enough or gift them items and they’ll recite you poetry and sometimes give you things, they’ll even move into your upstairs apartment or the studio if they like you enough

NPCs will build campsites and faction camps, you can find them in the distance by their campfire smoke

-You can listen to music by clicking on the radio or pressing ‘*’, see below for more music controls

-You can watch TV in your living room or the studio by clicking on it

Click campfires while holding a log to start a fire

Click the giant clock to reset everything except your inventory, may cause glitches
